Privacy Policy
Hooshi is a voice keyboard. When you dictate, audio is sent to Hooshi servers for speech-to-text and optional text cleanup. Do not dictate information you are not allowed to send to an external service.
Data we process
- Account data: email, name, authentication token, subscription status, and trial state.
- Voice data: audio snippets you submit for transcription, plus generated transcript text.
- Text cleanup data: transcript text and optional personal dictionary words you choose to store.
- Payment data: plan, checkout session, provider payment id, payment status, and webhook metadata. Card details are handled by the payment provider, not Hooshi.
- Support data: feedback, ratings, support tickets, and messages you submit.
- Operational data: request timestamps, status codes, rate-limit keys, diagnostics, and security logs needed to run and protect the service.
How we use data
We use data to provide dictation, text cleanup, subscriptions, support, abuse prevention, debugging, reliability monitoring, and required accounting or security records.
Retention
Account, subscription, support, and billing records are kept while your account is active and as needed for legal, security, and accounting purposes. Audio/transcript processing is designed for service operation, not long-term content storage. Diagnostic files on your device, such as local last-recording debug audio, remain on your device unless you share them.
Sharing
Hooshi uses infrastructure and payment providers to operate the service. We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect Hooshi or users, or to process payments and support requests.
Your choices
- You can disable optional text cleanup in the app.
- You can edit or remove personal dictionary words in the app.
- You can stop using dictation at any time; microphone and Accessibility permissions can be revoked in your operating system settings.
- You can contact support through the app for account or data requests.
Security
Hooshi uses HTTPS for public endpoints, bearer-token entitlement checks for protected services, rate limits, service isolation, and restricted production secret files. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Contact
Use the support section inside the Hooshi app. If you cannot access the app, contact the operator through hooshi.tech.
