Delete your Hooshi account

On the web

Sign in at hooshi.tech/account, open Delete account, confirm, and choose Delete my account. You don’t need to install anything.

In the apps

Use the latest version of the app.

• iPhone and Android: open Hooshi → Profile → Delete account (also under Sign out in Settings).
• Mac and Windows: open Hooshi → Settings → Account → Delete account (also at the bottom of your Profile).

If you created your account with an email and password, you’ll be asked for your password. If you use Sign in with Apple, the iPhone app asks you to confirm with Apple so we can also revoke Hooshi’s access to your Apple ID.

What is deleted

• Your account and sign-in (email, name, password hash, Apple or Google sign-in link)
• All signed-in devices and sessions
• Your personal dictionary and settings
• Usage history and counters
• Support tickets and feedback
• Referral links and rewards

We never store your dictation audio or the text we recognise, so there is nothing of that to delete.

What we keep

Records of payments that tax law requires us to keep are anonymised — your email is removed — and kept only for the legally required period. Deleted data disappears from our encrypted backups within 30 days as they rotate.

Subscriptions

• Bought on our website or in the Mac or Windows app (Paddle): cancelled immediately when you delete your account. You will not be charged again. Refunds follow our Refund Policy.
• Bought in the iPhone app (App Store): Apple bills these, so deleting your Hooshi account does not cancel them. Cancel in Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions.

Sign in at hooshi.tech/account and choose Download my data to save a copy before you delete.

Can’t sign in?

Email support@hooshi.tech from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We’ll confirm the request comes from you and complete it within 30 days.
